Logan regional medical center goal is to be their communities’ first choice provider of healthcare for southwestern West Virginia; offering a full range of medical services; served by employees, physicians, volunteers and board members who are committed to customer service, continuous quality improvement and education. In order to best serve their rural patients Logan Medical Center wanted to open 『convenient care clinics’ in rural areas so that patients would not have to drive extended distances in order to have minor injuries diagnosed and treated.
Logan regional medical center wanted to be able to provide convenient health care to their patients located in rural West Virginia. The hospital owned some land in Chapmanville, a rural town located about 40 miles outside of Logan, and wanted to open a pediatric center and a general health clinic. Hospital administrators believed that providing clinics in rural areas that were convenient to their patients would increase patient satisfaction and they would lose fewer patients to hospitals in nearby Charlestown.
Mobilease representatives worked closely with hospital administrators to design clinic layouts that would best suit the specific needs of the physicians and administrators. In September of 2005 Logan Medical placed their order and by November of 05 the project was complete and ready to begin treating patients.
