Client Profile

In June, 2003, Gwynedd-Mercy College, a private Catholic college in suburban Philadelphia, found themselves in a growth phase and decided to construct a permanent residence hall capable of housing 200 students. The new residence hall would be completed and ready for occupancy in three years.

Client Challenge

Gwynedd-Mercy College wanted to begin to enroll additional freshman to live on campus and continue that cycle so that when the new, permanent residence hall was completed it would be near full occupancy. In order to start this process, the college needed temporary living accommodations to be completed in less than 90 days.

The Mobilease Solution

The college contracted with Mobilease to build the modular dormitory in late June, 2003. All work was completed and the building was ready for occupancy by August, 2003. Gwynedd-Mercy College was able to earn additional revenue generated from the temporary modular residence hall and solidified the core group of students that would transition to the new permanent building when completed.
